The Malaysia Latte Art Championship (MLAC) is introduced as a national competition that will witness local baristas battle to be crowned as the Malaysia Latte Art Champion. The championship was introduced as a national championship in the year of 2015.

The aim of this competition is to produce baristas that are technically skilled in both the craft of latte art as well as their technical skills. Competitors will need to present their art according to a planned routine, where competitors will be judged on consistency and visual aspects.
